Talented artist Wizkid has worked hard enough for the accolades showered on him all over the world. He’s fast becoming an international star that he deserves to be, with collaboration with international acts in the works and endorsement from more established artistes from the world over saying a lot about his worth.
American rapper Ralph Victor Folarin, popularly known as Wale (a name gotten from his birth name Olubowale Victor Akintimehin), who was answering questions from his fans on twitter was asked by a fan who his favourite African artist was, and Wale’s reply was Wizkid.
The Nigerian artist was said to have partied in New York City with stars like Wale and Busta Rhymes when Wale fell in love with his songs, and they hit the studio together. Sources close to Wizkid say the song will be released in his upcoming Starboy mix tape.
